The Problem

GigaStar operates at an impossible intersection, a regulated financial platform built around human creativity. SEC-registered, FINRA-approved, paying out real investor returns. But the brand was pulling in two directions at once: credible enough for retail investors, human enough for YouTube creators. Most platforms collapse toward one side and lose the other audience entirely. GigaStar was at risk of being trusted by neither.

The Solution

Freespirit Labs ran a Phantom brand intelligence audit across their public-facing touchpoints  assessing brand strength across five dimensions using behavioral psychology research and design heuristics. The synthesis produced a strategic reframe: where Robinhood had to make something institutional feel human, GigaStar has to make something creative feel credible. Same dual audience, opposite starting point. The audit identified what GigaStar needed to communicate and how, so that the right users arrive pre-sold, making acquisition easier and cheaper.
